Cycle Jumble

The 16th Annual Cycle Jumble, Britain's largest one day indoor jumble, saw a record number of stall holders of 140, last Sunday 15th January. There were also 903 paying visitors to the Jumble.
There were 903 visitors, and Sarah and Barney Storey cut their training time down that day to sell some career equipment off, raising £1500.00 for two charities.
If you missed a bargain on their stall, but want to make a donation, the two charities are:
Children’s Adventure Farm www.caft.org.uk
A charity supporting the region’s most vulnerable and needy children. Entirely self funded through donations and fund raising. The farm welcomes children with terminal illness and severe disabilities or those have been taken into care to protect them from abusive parents. Many of those who visit would not get a holiday if it were not for the farm. From daily activities to week long trips or Christmas parties, the farm is open 50 weeks a year.
Boot out Breast Cancer www.bootoutbc.org.uk
Started in 2010 by Debbie Dowie, wife of Sky Sports Ian Dowie following her breast cancer treatment. The charity raises money for vital diagnostic equipment for care centres around Manchester. Sarah became a patron because her Mum had breast cancer and was treated in Manchester in 2004/5.
