So you want to come to Manchester's Indoor BMX? The National Cycling Centre now houses a state of the art, world class indoor BMX Track.
The venue is second-to-none in design and specification accommodating both high performance and entry-level coaching
Our BMX Track programme is designed with a strong community focus and includes daily slots for school and community bookings. We offer a a variety of packages which are designed to provide exciting opportunities at the UK’ s premier BMX facility.
The New BMX programme for schools can make a significant contribution to the personal development of children and young people in correlation with the Education Strategy for Outdoor Adventurous Activities. As well as contributing to the outcomes of the Every Child Matters FRAMEWORK. Participation in BMX at the indoor centre will provide an enjoyable and high quality sporting experience. Riders will gain self confidence, self awareness, respect and team working skills, amongst many other benefits.
- Daily blocks of school access where structured coaching sessions will help riders build the techniques required to use the track through the Gold, Silver and Bronze routes.
- BMX School Track Champs offer inter-school competition at the world’s best BMX venue, seating stands open to the whole school to come and cheer.
Gold has 6 to 8 weeks of progressive coaching with free entry to the intra-school competition.
