Spectator Parking

All spectator parking for large scale events will now be at Sportcity on Car Park 2. It is a 5 minute walk away. A map showing the location of spectator parking is available here.

Parking for disabled spectators on site is limited, parking will be for blue badge holders only and must be arranged prior to the event by telephoning 0161 223 2244 (option 3)

Arriving by bike

We have covered bike sheds close to reception for visitors, but you need to bring your own high security lock. If you are just visiting the cafe, bikes can be parked for short periods in reception, but still needs locking securely. If you are here for a few hours, why not book your bike into Evans Cycles, the pro bike shop next door to the Velopark cafe for a service or upgrade? Phone them in advance for availability on 0161 223 6589.

Our new footbridge crosses the Ashton canal, which is National Route 60, so there are a number of off road routes you can use, some of them only suitable in daylight hours.

Visit the Sustrans website for your journey planner by bike. http://www.sustrans.org.uk/map?searchKey=m11&searchType=search&Search=Find. Enter our postcode M11 4DQ
