Team Building & Corporate Session
Bring your clients, customers or employees to Manchester Velodrome and ride in the wheel tracks of our Olympic Champions.
A team building event.
A one hour corporate taster session will give your guests time to learn how to ride the track, and ride in an individual one lap time trial. With a two hour session, if the group progress well with the expert coaching tuition, they can finish with a mock race. We can also add Wattbike virtual racing and Go-Ride skills competition for you to really test your guests with a multi tasking competition!
We are a world class venue where you can ride with a Team GB athlete, and stand on the World Championship podium with them afterwards! Have your conference or customer/client hospitality at the busiest and fastest Velodrome in the World.
Video Screen
Our big screen can instantly relay the names and times of your guests and display the leading time, for your 250 metres time trial ride, also the logo of the host company in full colour.
VIP Buffet
Let your guests enjoy a VIP buffet on the upper concourse after the session with your guest rider and watch the Great Britain team if they are training.
Team GB Guest Rider
One of Team GB’s cyclists can be engaged to ride with the session, and to have a time trial ride off with your guests. POA through their agent.
Number of riders
10 is the optimum number for a corporate taster 1 hour session. Your guests can be "tagged" for transponder timing, so they can check their lap times on line on http://www.manchestermylaps.com
Equipment
Dolan bikes, Limar 777 helmets and Lake shoes are provided within the hire fee, with one of our expert coaches managing the session. You can purchase adidas towels for your guests.
Costs
- One hour session x 10 riders incl. video screen/results - £600.00 + VAT
- Two hour session for 16 riders incl. video screen/results - £900.00 + VAT
- 2 x One hour groups of 10 riders incl. video screen/results - £1200.00 + VAT
- Usage of the World Championship podium - £30.00 + VAT
- Our presenter/MC will add the words to your action on your session £150.00 + VAT
- trackside branding can be made and fitted for the day to enhance your group photo - poa
