The Future of British Cycling Returns to Manchester!

The National Cycling Centre is thrilled to welcome back the National Youth and Junior Track Championships from 28 July to 1 August — returning to Manchester for the first time in ten years!

With a record-breaking 805 entries, this year’s event promises an electrifying showcase of the UK’s most promising young riders. Among the rising stars to watch are Erin Boothman and Henry Hobbs, who will be lighting up the track with their talent and determination.

We’re especially proud to cheer on 14 riders from local club East Manchester Velo, who will be competing on home ground. Congratulations and best of luck to Anwen, Thomas, Andrew, Adam, George, Jacob, Charlie, Oliver, Jack, Max, Luke, Joshua, Dexter, and Rocco — a true reflection of Manchester’s thriving cycling community and talent development pathway.
