The National Cycling Centre recently hosted the 2025 British Taekwondo International Open. The G1 Taekwondo event took place over two days on the 22nd and 23rd March and hosted athletes from all 4 corners of the world, including competitors from the Paris Olympic Games 2024.   

 

On day one in the senior categories, British fighters won 4 of the available 16 gold medals on offer.  On Sunday, it was the juniors and cadets turn on our centre floor where British fighters managed a total of 13 gold medals out of the 31 up for grabs.  

The end of day two rounded off another successful event at the National Cycling Centre, showcasing the versatility of our elite venue.
