The Learn to Ride programme successfully launched its first-ever holiday camp this week, providing a fun, safe and supportive environment for children of all abilities to develop their cycling skills.
Delivered in partnership with British Cycling, the sessions welcomed 51 young riders, each supported to build confidence and independence at their own pace.
The week was further highlighted by a visit from British Cycling Chief Executive, Jon Dutton, who met with children and parents and saw first-hand the positive impact of the programme.
A huge thank you goes to the dedicated coaching team—British Cycling coaches Eve Oldale and Rebecca Jones, alongside NCC coaches Kathy England and John Wych—whose enthusiasm and expertise made the camp such a success.
This milestone holiday camp marks an exciting step forward for the programme, as it continues to inspire more young people to get cycling.
